Save space on your hard drive by deleting duplicate files.

Dup Scout is a simple program that enables you to detect all duplicate files on your PC. This application does a scan of the directories on your hard drive that you indicate, locating all the files that are exactly the same but are in different locations.

Once the scan has finished, Dup Scout shows a complete table of all the results, showing in each row the duplicate file name, along with the number of times it's repeated on the hard drive, and the total space that could be saved if the duplication is eliminated.

Clicking on any of these entries, you'll be able to deploy a wide range of options, ranging from more data on the duplicate files, to compress these duplicate files, delete them, or mark them as exceptions if they're a necessary repetition.

Dup Scout can create different scan profiles, with the ability to add shortcuts to them directly on the desktop to quickly launch scans.
